A deliberate pause

Rest and Reset is a quieter studio format with fewer changes of position. The opening minutes explain the room, the equipment and how the session will progress. There is time to arrange supports and ask a practical question before the group settles into the first part of the sequence.

Choice within the format

The teacher describes the length and purpose of each pause. Sitting, lying down or changing position can be discussed without treating stillness as an achievement. Some instructions are spoken, followed by space without commentary. There is no expectation to feel relaxed, to close your eyes or to remain in a position that is not useful to you.

Equipment and arrival

The example class lasts fifty minutes and may use a mat, cushions or a chair. Availability and access arrangements are confirmed by the studio, not implied by a photograph. An early arrival allows time to find a place in the room and hear the setup instructions. If a quiet format is unfamiliar, ask what the session sounds and looks like before requesting a place.

A studio activity

This is an illustrative group class rather than treatment or an individual assessment. The timetable shows the weekly pattern in studio time. Send the intended date and any practical questions through the request form; a listing does not confirm a reservation.
