The useful questions before booking
Experience, equipment and confirmation: three useful things to clarify before choosing a session.
Do I need previous experience?
Ask what previous familiarity a class expects and how the teacher introduces its movements. A beginner description should make the starting point understandable. If you are new to the format, mention that when asking a question; it gives the studio a useful starting point for its reply. You can also ask how the pace compares with another class you have enjoyed.
What should I bring?
Check the equipment and clothing guidance before arriving. Ask whether a mat or props are supplied and whether you need to bring anything yourself. It can be helpful to clarify water, belongings and changing arrangements at the same time. Keeping the answer with the session details leaves fewer things to work out on the day.
How is a place confirmed?
Use the studio booking link for the session you want, and check the intended date and local time before completing the booking. An enquiry asks a question; wait for a reply before assuming a place is held. The timetable shown here is illustrative. The studio can explain current availability and how a place is confirmed.
Put the class name and intended date at the start of an enquiry, followed by the practical question you would like answered. A clear question is easier to respond to.
