Teaching approach
Sam starts with a practical question: what would make this movement easier to understand? A session may return to the same pattern several times, changing one detail at a time so the instructions remain manageable. Demonstrations are short, and there is space to reset a mat or ask for another explanation.
Mobility sessions explore a comfortable range without treating a particular shape as the goal. Mat foundations give more time to setup and the relationship between one movement and the next. Sam names the equipment before it is needed and explains when a chair or another position can be discussed.
This is a teaching style built around clarity and repetition. Participants are encouraged to describe practical questions in their own words, including what they would like to know before a first visit. No level of previous studio experience is assumed in the introductory formats.
