Begin where you are

A slower morning practice with time to settle in and understand the sequence. Ask the teacher about the pace and options as the class unfolds.

Before your session

Check the intended session time and teacher, and ask whether any prior familiarity or specific equipment is expected.

A quieter beginning

Morning Grounding starts with enough time to arrive, place a mat and hear the shape of the session. The first movements are simple and repeated, with instructions offered before each transition. It is a slower introduction to the room rather than a list of positions to complete before the day begins.

How the class unfolds

The sequence moves between a small number of seated, standing and mat-based patterns. There are pauses to watch a demonstration, change position or ask for another explanation. Breath is used as an ordinary timing cue, without an expectation to follow a particular count. A brief closing pause leaves time to gather belongings without rushing into the next class.

Practical details

The example format lasts forty-five minutes. Comfortable clothes and a mat are used; ask ahead about available studio equipment and any practical access requirements. Arriving a little early gives time to find the entrance and discuss setup. You can observe part of a movement before joining in, and a question is welcome at any point.

Before requesting a place

Check the teacher, local studio time and the date you have in mind. The weekly timetable is an example pattern, not a confirmed reservation. The studio confirms current availability and any relevant terms before a visit.
